About Shamse

Shamse or Shamseh has been depicted with Arabesque motifs, Khatay, inscriptions, geometrical. And in some cases use of animal motifs such as fish and birds, that was inspired by the sun.

Shamse is a symbol of :

Shamseh, is a symbol of divinity, light and Oneness of God that can be observed the samples in the inside the roof of the Dome of the mosque of Sheikh Lotf allah In Isfahan and the tomb of King Nemat allah in Mahan, Kerman.

One of the motifs can be seen in the in the decoration of religious places is Peacock’s motifs.
